Approved List of Vapes in the UK | 1552 Approved Register Numbers

The UK Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) database updated 1552 vape registration codes from September 8th to 14th, a 32 fold increase compared to last week. The public announcement covers brands such as ELFBAR, SMOK, VAPRESSO, INNOKIN, etc., with more than 90% of the products being pods and pod systems

What are key informations:

1. The number of public announcements has significantly increased: From September 8th to 14th, 2025, MHRA announced a total of 1552 registration codes, a 32 fold increase compared to the previous period.
2. Brand centralized announcement: International renowned brands such as ELFBAR,  SMOK, VAPRESSO, INNOKIN, etc. are all included in this announcement list, covering multiple categories such as equipment, kits, and smoke bombs.
3. The proportion of cigarette bomb products is prominent: a total of 1397 cigarette bomb registration codes were approved in this period, accounting for more than 90% of the total public announcement, an increase of about 33 times compared to last week.
4. The product categories cover a wide range: including rechargeable devices, refillable vaps, complete sets of equipment, and independent components.

Details:

According to the compliance process in the UK, vape products must be listed in the notification database of the Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). After the public announcement is completed, it means that these registration codes have passed the compliance review and obtained the license to legally sell in the UK market.
In order to help the industry understand the approval status of new products in the UK vape market, the Dank Smoke team has compiled and analyzed the relevant information in the MHRA announcement.
In terms of product quantity, a total of 1552 registration codes were updated from September 8th to September 14th, a 32 fold increase compared to the previous week’s 46 registration codes (September 1st to September 7th).

Electronic cigarette – Rechargeable, placed on the market with one type of e-liquid (fixed combination). From September 8th to September 14th, a total of 29 registration codes were updated, from OK VAPE and PIXL brands.

Electronic cigarette – Rechargeable, device only Any Rechargeable which can also be used as a refillable should be reported under the refillable category. In the product category, a total of 18 registration codes were updated between September 8th and September 14th, involving brands such as ELFBAR, LOST MARY, HAYATI, SMOK, KANGVAPE, etc.

In the product category of “Electronic cigarette – Refillable, placed on the market with one type of e-liquid (fixed combination)”, there were a total of 15 registration code updates from September 8th to September 14th, involving NEXEL and SNOWPLUS brands.

In the “Electronic cigarette refillable, device only.” product category, there were a total of 35 registration code updates from September 8th to September 14th, involving brands such as JNR, OXVA, INNOKIN, VAPORESSO, etc.

In the product category of “Kit Pack containing more than one different e-cigarette device and/or more than one different refill container/container.”, there were a total of 5 registration code updates from September 8th to September 14th, involving brands such as SMOK, VAPRESSO, LOST VAPE, etc.

In the “Individual part of electronic cigarette capable of containing e-liquid.” product category, there were a total of 52 registration code updates from September 8th to September 14th, involving brands such as SMOK, VAPOROCK, KAN GVAPE, HAYATI, PAVA, SKE, INNOKIN, etc.

In the product category of “Refill container/container containing e-liquid. (refillable containers/cartridges containing e-liquid)”, a total of 1397 registration codes were updated between September 8th and September 14th, involving brands such as INNOKIN, SMOK, SKE, HAYATI, FUMOT, etc. Compared with the 40 smoke bombs announced last week (September 1st to September 7th), the number of smoke bombs announced this week has increased significantly, by about 33 times.

In the ‘Other’ category, there was a total of one registration code update between September 8th and September 14th, for dotCoils 0.6 ohm launched by DOTMOD, a subsidiary of DOTMOD INCORPRATED.
