BAT: Glo Hilo series will expand to Italy, Poland, Serbia market

British American Tobacco announced on social media that BAT has officially launched Glo ™ Hilo heat not burn vape product line nationwide in Japan, including the all-new Glo ™ Hilo、glo ™ Hilo Plus and Virto ™ Heating smoke tanks. BAT stated that the series will soon expand to the markets of Italy, Poland, and Serbia. The company’s goal is to reach 50 million adult consumers of smoke-free products by 2030, and to fully transform into a smoke-free enterprise by 2035.

BAT introduces that Glo Hilo Plus is Glo’s first two-piece heating no burnt product, consisting of a charging case and EasySwitch heating pen, using Turbostart Quartz heating technology. The new product is integrated into the myglo mobile application, supporting multiple settings such as personalized taste/heating parameters and device status management, enhancing user convenience and playability. At the same time, Virto has launched a dedicated heating cartridge that is compatible with the Hilo platform, forming a complete product ecosystem.

After the release of Glo Hilo in the Japanese market. Users generally praise Glo Hilo for its stylish appearance, superior taste performance, and odor control compared to IQOS, but some users point out that heating too quickly can cause a burnt sensation in the first bite.
