According to Senatedems, the Michigan Senate passed two bipartisan pieces of legislation on the same day aimed at strengthening youth tobacco control efforts across the state.
Quick overview of key points
1. The Michigan Senate has passed Senate Bill 462 and Bill 465.
2. The bill requires tobacco retailers to obtain a business license.
3. We plan to strengthen inspections and increase penalties for selling cigarettes to minors.
4. Involving online and delivery tobacco sales regulation and time limited promotion bans.
5. The bill has been submitted to the state House of Representatives for further review.

The legislation is led by Senate Majority Leader and Democratic Senator Sam Singh from East Lansing, and co initiated by Republican Senator Joseph Bellino. Senate bills 462 and 465 propose to require tobacco retailers to obtain a business license, consistent with the practices of most states in the United States.
According to the legislation, Michigan is currently one of the few states that has not yet required tobacco retailers to obtain a license. The bill aims to establish a statewide regulatory system to strengthen law enforcement and accountability.

Singh stated that tobacco use is one of the leading preventable causes of death in Michigan and across the United States, and adolescent tobacco use has become an increasingly serious public health issue. He pointed out that establishing a clear regulatory framework and strengthening retailer responsibility can help provide the same protection for minors in Michigan as in other states.
The main contents of the bill include: conducting regular inspections of tobacco retail venues, increasing penalties for selling tobacco products to minors, regulating online and delivery tobacco sales, prohibiting time limited promotions of tobacco products, and establishing a special fund within the state financial system for the management and implementation of new regulations. The bill has now been submitted to the Michigan House of Representatives for further review.

Michigan is currently one of only nine states in the United States that does not require tobacco premises to obtain a license.
I remember having very high-quality customers in Michigan, but the enforcement of vapes, especially marijuana vapings, in this state is quite strict. As early as 2014, I had an experience of being confiscated by customs for exporting vapes to Michigan.
The current famous vape brand in Michigan is Breeze Smoke. It has had very good sales in Texas and Florida. Also the vape distributor KMT distribution smoke & vape supply very good service and produts.
